Oh, goodness, friends. I made this recipe for the first time about a year ago and immediately fell in love. It’s delightfully creamy, warm, and filling. The first step is to brown the chicken in a sturdy pot. Then we sautee veggies, make a roux, add the liquids. The recipe calls for heavy cream but you could also use dairy free milk. I was a bit worried that my batter consistency was a but crumbly, but it turned out perfectly. I added salmon to mine for some added protein. It was the perfect cold winter night dinner.
