I’ve got two for you today. I bought a car last week for the first time ever on my own! We’ve had about 8 total inches of snow this week which meant two two-hour delays. I feel so independent now that I can actually get places in snow. No more canceling plans or calling into work in the cold months (like 9 months out of the year). I had my lovely Corolla for 16 years. 16 years of dates, road trips, solo exploration, identity formation and coming into my independence as an adult. But it was time. The snow is now much, much more enjoyable now that I don’t have an anxiety attack every time it snows! Which is a lot in Colorado 🙂
