Writer’s Block

A few haikus to knock down spider webs in my head:

Pineapple, so sweet
Gold oddity, a jewel
Curiously barbed.

Crisp leaves a crunching,
Bursts of wind send them twirling,
The dance of rebirth.

Teeth mangled and sharp,
A strange glow comes from within,
A jack o’ lantern.

The moon floats on high,
Shinning, illuminating
Conducting the tide.

Seeds sprout a new hope,
Verdant paradox of life,
Growing and dying.
