Our fruit trees and various flower are blossoming! Last year we had no success with producing fruit because of the late spring freeze — none of our plants flowered. We are keeping our fingers crossed that there won’t be any more hard freezes this year. One of my particular favorites that is now blooming is our tulips. We haven’t seen those bloom in a couple seasons, which warms my heart. I was worried they were tapped out.

I’m sure our dogs running amok in the backyard doesn’t help, so I feel especially fortunate because these are right in their running path. Right after I took this photo, Rosie ran up to me and almost crushed the tulip, hah! Delicate radiance cannot remain forever, I suppose — ephemeral.
